Hjalmar Gislason

Founder & CEO

Mr. Hjalmar Gislason is the CEO and Founder of GRID. He serves as a Partner at Investa, an early-stage investment fund, and previously served as VP of Product Management at Qlik. Hjalmar was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DataMarket, founded in 2008 and sold to Qlik in 2014. A career data nerd and entrepreneur, he previously founded and participated in building several start-up companies in mobile, gaming, and information services. Hjalmar recently moved back to Iceland after living in the U.S. for seven years.

Thorsteinn Yngvi Gudmundsson

VP of Operations & co-founder

An MBA & ICT leader with 20 years of experience focused on building new ventures internationally. Has held positions as a CEO, GTM lead, VP Operations, Finance lead, Product manager & Board Director.

We are a group of experienced software innovators, based in Reykjavik, Iceland. We're deeply focused on building an inclusive culture and a diverse team.
